The Kabuki Brush

I may live in the country but that doesn’t mean I don’t love to shop and do girly things.  When my mom comes to visit she usually brings a treat bag from Sephora or one of our favorite makeup counters.  I really miss having easy access to large department stores and ample shopping but I get my fix when I go home so I can survive in the meantime.
Last year (I can’t remember on which visit) Mom brought me a new makeup brush which quickly turned into my new favorite.  She found the Chanel Kabuki Brush and thought it had a fun name so she got it.  Little did she know how fantastic it is!  Most days I don’t wear full makeup if any at all.  If I am just going to be around town I will put on some mascara and some powder.  This is the best powder brush ever.  It is rare that I will rave about a specific product so much but Chanel makes the best makeup brushes that last forever and this one is no exception.  It is soft, plump, applies powder wonderfully and is also great for blending.
The only drawback I see with this brush is that it is very short and chubby (see picture below) thus making it hard to fit into a brush bag and travel with.  That means it usually has to stay at home during vacations but that is ok because Chanel’s other brushes are equally as fantastic and can also do the same job. So, if you are looking for a great new powder brush and trust the unprofessional judgment of this country bumpkin I would highly recommend the Kabuki!

For the record, Chanel has no idea who I am and had not part in me reviewing this item.
